In my job as professor at the Department of Clinical Science (K2), University of Bergen, I teach at courses for medical students and for doctors specialising in infectious disease and internal medicine. Since its start in 2007, I have had the fortune of teaching at the International short-course in tropical medicine at CMC, Vellore, India together with wonderful colleagues from India and all over the world. I also taught at The Union’s international tuberculosis course in Arusha, Tanzania from 2010 to 2014.
Together with Chiku Ali, I also teach courses in Swahili, the fastest-moving language in East Africa.
