I am an enthusiastic saxophone player, participating in several bands, and writing music for the group Washamba. Together with Chiku Ali, we run the tiny, but very busy cultural venue, Cafe Sanaa, in the centre of Bergen.

In 2005, I had the honor of playing saxophone on the music video Mimi Nakupenda by Tanzanian singer Saida Karoli.
